Jeanne (Beaurivage) Beaumier, 91, of West Hartford, wife of the late late Harve Beaumier, died Wednesday (Feb. 21, 1996) at Avery Heights Nursing Home. Born in Levis, Province Quebec, Canada, she had resided in West Hartford over 50 years. Mrs. Beaumier was a former member of the Church of St.

Anne, Hartford and former member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She is survived by a son and daughter-inlaw, Lucien A. and Jean Beaumier of West Hartford; a son-in-law, Robert Makoski of West Hartford; a sister, Yvette Casavant of Palm Harbor, FL; five grandchildren, Debra George, Barbara Fisher, Robert Beaumier, Robert Makoski, and Ann Felix; seven great grandchildren, Kimberly Boyko, Stacey Fisher, Stephen Fisher, Ashley Makoski, Whitney Makoski, Haley Makoski, and Kyle Felix. Grace (Gajewski-Kutrzuba) Dziennis, 88, of Dowd Avenue, Canton, wife of the late John S. Dziennis, died Tuesday (Feb. 20, 1996) at Brightview Convalescent Home Avon. She was born July 18, 1907 in Meriden, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (KUsha) Antoni Gajewski and adoptive parents and Sophi Kutrzuba, and has lived in Canton for the past 54 years. Mrs.

Dziennis was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Ladies Guild in Collinsville. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Anthony Trouern-Trend of Collinsville; two sons and da John R. and Joan Dennis of Robert J. and June Dziennis of Newington, five great grandchildren.

DENI. Michael J. Deni, 89, formerly of Walnut Enfield, husband of Frances (Scavotto) Deni, died Thursday (Feb. 22, 1996) at a local nursing home. Born in Hebron, he had been a resident of the Enfield community for most of his life and was a communicant of St.

Patrick's Church. Prior to his retirement 1971, she employed for over 50, as weaver at the former Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Patrick F. Triggs VFW Post No. 1501.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-inlaw, Mary Ann and Peter Pease of Enfield; two brothers and a sister, Tony Deni, Walter Deni and Caroline Scura, all of Enfield; three grandchildren, Michael and Olschafskie and David Pease; and a great granddaughter, Alicia Olschafskie. He was predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Deni, and a sister, Rosalie Liszewski. 19, 1996), at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL after a brief struggle with cancer. Born July 25, 1936 in Willimantic, a daughter of the late Rhea and Ovila Garceau, she attended the St. Mary's School in Willimantic, and graduated from the Holy Family Academy in Baltic. Married in 1959 to Russell Galipo, former comptroller for the City of Bristol, worked briefly as a secretary with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Anne then dedicated many years to raising her sister's children before returning to work for the State of Connecticut until her retirement in 1994.

During her tenure with the State of Connecticut, Anne worked as an assistant with the State Legislature's Appropriations Committee, serving with former Representative ner Wright, Senator Joe Harper, and Representative Janet Polinsky. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, Kim Galipo, Jeff Galipo, Scott Galipo, T.R. Devanney 75, formerly Wethersfield, husband of Cardied Thursday (Feb. 22, mela (Carlo) Devanney, 1996) at a local convalescent home. Born in Hartford, he had been a resident of Wethersfield for more than 30 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War 11, having served in the Pacific Theater and was member of VFW Post 9945, Wethersfield. He was involved the democratic party town politics for many years and served as First Selectman, Constable and Justice of the Peace in Wethersfield.

He was appointed Deputy Harbor Master of the Wethersfield Cove the late Governor Grasso in 1979 and served until his retirement. He was very active in high school athletics and was instrumental in bringing football to Wethersfield High School. He was also very active in the Littie League Program, serving as coach and umpire for many years. He had retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after 25 years of service. He sang on the radio station WDRC in the early 1930's.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael J. Devanney of Simsbury, Harold John and Maureen A. Devanney of Burlington; a daughter, Marie D. Mikan of West Hartford; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Harold and Robert.

She was the widow of Denton T. Gallup who pre-deceased her in 1984. A life member of the order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 77 and formerly a parishioner Alban's Episcopal Church, Danielson, she was a communicant of St. James' Episcopal Church, West Hartford.

There she was a member of the Women of St. James' serving on the antique, show committee and other groups well as acting as the organist for the chapel service for primary grades for several years. She was also a member of the West Hartford Republican's Club. Mrs. Gallup was a graduate of Bay, Path Institute in Longmeadow, Survivors include, Joan G.

Eleanor (Gilbert) Glennen, 64, of Newington, formerly of New Britain, lost a courageous struggle to cancer early Thursday (Feb. 22, 1996) at her home. Born in Hartford, the daughter of the later Eugene and the late Cecile (Michaud) Gilbert, she was employed at Central Connecticut State University, first as the secretary to the Department of Psychology, and most recently as Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of University Affairs, Richard L.

Judd, her retirement in 1995. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She is survived by a daughter and son Judith and Robert Rozanski of East Berlin, her devoted companion, Walker F. Glennen of Newington; four brothers, Raymond, Robert, Roland and Richard Gilbert; two sisters, Doris McAlees and Marilyn Gilbert, many nieces and nephews, and her very special great and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be Saturday Feb. 24, 8 a.m. from Porter's FUneral Home, 111 Chamberlain Hwy, Kensington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9 a.m., St. Joseph Church, New Britain. Burial will be in St.

Frederick L. 51 of Windham, beloved husband of Regina (Klimas) Haddad, died Thursday (Feb. 22, 1996) at Windham Hospital. He was born April 6, 1944 in Willimantic, son of Evelyn M. Haddad of Willimantic and the late Louis S.

Haddad. He earned his Bachelors degree from Merrimack College, Masters from Eastern Connecticut State University and his PhD from the University of Connecticut. He was an educational consultant for the ConnectiState Department of Education, Division of Vocational Education past 30 years. He also had taught for the Department of Defense Schools in Japan and also at the Windham Regional Technical School. He was a part time Professor at Central Connecticut State University.

He was a member of the Lebanese-American Club, a past member of the Willimantic Country Club and a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Besides his wife and mother, he is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Richard Balogh Jr. of North Windham, daughters, Valerie and 'Melissa, a son, Frederick II, all of Windham; two brothers, Robert L. Haddad of Columbia and Paul L.

Haddad of Cheshire; a granddaughter, Jessica Balogh and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday Feb. 27, 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St.

Attorney John Britain, J. Man- died gan, Thursday 77, of (Feb. 22, 1996) at a local New nursing home after New long Britain, illness. "Jack" was born in the youngest son of the late Larry and Frances Mangan. He attended St.

Mary's School and New Britain High School. He was a member of both the football and baseball teams at New Britain High, at where he graduated in While the high school, he under the direction of the "Chick" Shea, and the teams compiled three straight state championships Miami culminating with a win over High School in the Orange Bowl in the prestigious North-South game of 1936. After receiving, the Burns Memorial athletic and scholastic achievements, Jack continued his education at Washington and Lee lettered University in Lexington, VA. He on both the baseball and football teams, becoming captain of both in his senior year. In 1940 he earned Collegiate Little All America honors.

He receiversity law defrom the in -1942 gree and immediately entered the Navy. Upon discharge; he Veterans's practiced a brief time at the Administration then returned to New Britain where he established a private practice and also served as a prosecutor in the local courts. He was a member of the Hartford County and the New Britain Bar Associations, where he served as President of the latter in 1968. He retired from his profession in 1989. In addition to his legal career, he was very active in the New Britain Lodge of Elks.

A member for over 50 years he was a Past Exalted Ruler and Past District Deputy, Grand Exalted Ruler. Jack was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Margaret Connelly, who died in 1990. He is survived by three sons, James P. Mangan of San Francisco, CA, J. Kevin Mangan of Minneapolis, MN and Atty.

McCAFFREY. Beatrice A. (Garvey) McCaffrey, 83, of Manchester, formerly of Coventry, wife of the late Henry J. McCaffrey, died Thursday (Feb. 22, 1996).

Born March 2, 1912 in Potsdam, NY, she had been a resident of Coventry for over 30 years before moving to Manchester 6 years ago. Mrs. McCaffrey was a machinist for Pratt Whitney with whom she had over 20 years of service before retiring in 1977. She is survived by three sons and three daughters in-law, JeF. and Carol McCaffrey of Manchester, Henry J.

and Cheryl McCaffrey of Wallingford, Kenneth G. and Noel McCaffrey' of Coventry; eight grandchildren, a grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased brother and three sisters. A prayer service will be Saturday Feb. 24, 10 a.m., Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main Manchester.

Prior to that, he was employed by Hamilton Standard for 10 years. He was a state representative from East Windsor from 1950-1952. He was a World War Il veteran of the U.S. Army 88th Infantry, serving in Italy and Africa. He was a member of the Barry-Poulter Post No.

40 A.L., a member of the League of Postmasters and a member of the Fish and Game Club. Bill was chairman of the Zoning and Planning Commission for the Town of East Windsor for over 25 years.
